Sea

2014

Sea is an installation comprised of three objects extracted from a beach whilst on a trip back home, and that are now displayed and connected in another context. The immensity and beauty of the landscape that I keep in my memory are subverted, through contentious actions and overflow.  Thus, a bottle that contains seawater, the breeze trapped inside a plastic bag and the measure of the horizon line by means of a string, reconfigure their original roles and change the perception of an idealized natural environment.
