Botanical portraits begin with the first quarantine.
The pandemic had just started and everyone around the world was at home.
The routine was the same as always and we began to feel the confinement that led us to be more contemplative with our daily spaces.
Personally, it was an opportunity to observe and be more attentive to the plants we domesticate.
As we were all in the same situation in the search of some company and connect through our plants and experiences during this context, I offered to portray (in an online way) whoever asked me with one or more of their favorite plants, and that those portrayed had the freedom to be able to tell me about the care they took regarding them, their observations, etc.
For a moment we all became a sort of botanists, also coming to conclusions about plants.
